Hey guys,
Mechinate Evolutionis-
3000 AD - Long after humans left Earth, our machines continued to thrive. Now, nearly every planet within the Milky Way is covered with anti-bio matter. "Earth", along with Mars and Jupiter, now resemble a world more like its own prehistoric age. The gaseous atmosphere, poisoned by our forefathers had no effect on the inorganic beings, and now their evolution has mimicked our own. Like any self-functioning being, the thirst for energy and resources is constantly bringing change. The machines began to expand their individual territories and reproduce, every version more capable than its predecessor. Cold creatures that have taken on the characteristics of the most successful lifeforms ever to roam the planet, now forge and hunt within the wiry vines of the Binary Forests. Mechanical root systems and towering satellite receptors bend, twist and fight for energy as foliage once did on the hot, wet planet we have long since abandoned. These worlds are no longer our own. All we can do is hope that there is a limit to their expansion, and that we can stay one planet ahead of them as they continue to dominate the universe.
This is a concept based off of a thesis that I read online. The idea that machines are evolving and will continue to do so, someday without the help of mankind. Movies like Terminator and The Matrix delve into this concept as well, but I wanted to do something a little bit different. I was a fan of, and inspired by the Beast Wars and Machine Wars series as well. I thought this would be a good way to show homage and dive into a new twist at the same time.

I added a little more atmosphere and depth as well as increasing the beams of light.
